FURemover Heavy Duty 18.5″ Rubber Broom & Squeegee

This is the wide one in the FURemover broom lineup. The rubber head measures about 18.5 inches across, so each pass covers noticeably more floor than the narrower versions. The telescoping iron handle adjusts from roughly 34 to 58 inches.

The rubber bristles can be worked over rugs and carpet to gather loose pet hair, then used for sweeping hair, dust, and everyday debris from suitable hard floors. The broader head also makes sense for open spaces where a smaller broom would simply take more passes.

Along the opposite edge is a built-in squeegee for small spills and wet cleanup on suitable smooth surfaces. When the head gets dirty, rinse it and let it dry before storing the broom.

The Extra-Wide Head Is the Main Difference

A 58-inch handle does not make this broom unusual by itself. The 18.5-inch head does.

It covers a wider strip of floor with every pass, which is useful across large rugs, open living areas, garages, patios, and other spaces where there is room to move a broad broom head comfortably.

That extra width is not always an advantage. Around tight furniture or in narrow spaces, a smaller broom can be easier to maneuver. The Heavy Duty version makes the most sense when floor coverage matters more than squeezing into small gaps.

It Moves Between Carpet and Hard Floors

On carpet and rugs, the rubber bristles can be pulled through the surface to bring loose hair together. Move onto wood, tile, vinyl, or another suitable hard floor and the same head works for hair, dust, and light debris.

It is a simple manual cleaning tool, not a replacement for every vacuum or floor cleaner in the house. Its job is different: give you a wide rubber-bristle surface for working loose material together before you pick it up.

That same setup also makes the broom practical outside on suitable paved or concrete areas where ordinary sweeping is needed.

The Handle Adjusts From About 34 to 58 Inches

The telescoping iron handle does not have to stay fully extended. It can be shortened to around 34 inches or opened out to approximately 58 inches, depending on where you are using or storing the broom.

The range is useful because the wide head can stay the same while the working length changes. Shorten it when less reach is convenient; extend it when you are covering a larger open area.

The Back Edge Has Another Job

Turn the broom head around and the opposite edge works as a squeegee. It can be used to pull together small amounts of water or move liquid across suitable smooth surfaces.

That fits naturally with a broom that may be used in kitchens, garages, patios, or other places where dry debris is not the only thing that ends up on the floor.

Afterward, rinse the rubber head when needed and leave it to dry before putting the broom away. On delicate, newly finished, or unfamiliar flooring, test a small area first rather than assuming every surface finish will respond the same way.
