The Standard-Width Broom in the FURemover Lineup
This version uses a 12.5-inch head, which puts it between a handheld cleaning tool and the extra-wide Heavy Duty broom. It still covers a useful amount of floor with each pass, but there is less width to maneuver around chair legs, tables, and smaller sections of carpet.
That makes the Original a straightforward choice when you want a full-size rubber broom without moving an 18.5-inch head through every room.
For Rugs, Carpet, and Everyday Hard Floors
On carpet and rugs, the rubber bristles can be pulled through the surface to bring loose pet hair together. Move onto wood, tile, vinyl, or another suitable hard floor and the same head can be used for hair, dust, and light debris.
A rubber broom and a vacuum do different jobs, so there is no reason to treat one as a replacement for the other. This one is useful when manually sweeping or gathering loose material makes sense for the area you are cleaning.
The Handle Adjusts From About 34 to 58 Inches
The telescoping handle can be shortened to roughly 34 inches or extended to about 58 inches.
That gives you some flexibility without changing the broom head itself. Use a shorter setting when less reach is convenient, then extend it again for normal floor work or larger open areas.
Unlike older sectional-handle versions, this page is describing the current telescoping configuration rather than a handle that comes apart into several screw-together pieces.
Flip the Head for Wet Cleanup
The opposite side of the broom head includes a built-in squeegee. It can be used to pull together small amounts of water or move liquid across suitable smooth surfaces.
When the rubber bristles collect dust and hair, rinse the head and let it dry before putting the broom away. On delicate, newly finished, or unfamiliar flooring, test a small area first rather than assuming every finish will respond the same way.
